Fans wishing to sign up as Vodafone Warriors members next year are being encouraged to get their names on the wait list or fear missing out on good seats after the club today announced a massive reduction in prices for the 2019 season.

As the Vodafone Warriors prepare to take on the Penrith Panthers in Saturday’s NRL elimination final in Sydney, CEO Cameron George unveiled plans to set the membership price for all reserved seats (covered and uncovered) at just $199 for the full season in 2019.

The $199 price point represents a reduction of up to $200 on 2018 pricing in some categories.

Existing members will be given the first opportunity to secure seats later this month before the remaining ones then go on sale to the general public in November.

Those who sign up on the wait list will be allocated the best available seats in order of when they had registered their interest.

“We’ve seen how good a full house can be at Mount Smart Stadium this year and we're hoping this will help fill the stadium for every game next season,” said George.

“We are also celebrating our 25th season next year and have some big plans. We definitely think this is a great opportunity for loyal Vodafone Warriors fans to take the next step and really commit to their team.”

Full season GA memberships will be available to purchase for just $125 while the club has also confirmed the introduction of an upgraded membership product for those who wish to take their experience to the next level in 2019.

The Super Membership will include a 2019 home jersey, access to a number of exclusive events as well as a host of other major benefits. More details will be released in the coming weeks.

In announcing the overhaul of 2019 membership pricing, George confirmed there would be 10 NRL games at Mount Smart Stadium next year.

“We’ve made the decision to take one home game on the road in New Zealand rather than have a double header next year and will announce where that is in due course,” said George.

“We are also participating as a home team in the NRL’s Magic Round in Brisbane in May.”
