Comeback man Tohu Harris produced a series of impressive statistics in the Vodafone Warriors' outstanding 36-16 demolition of Penrith on Friday night.

He hadn't played since the June 29 loss to Cronulla but it didn't show as he ran a game-high 161 metres from 16 runs in 68 minutes on the field.

He finished with 61 post-contact metres and also made 29 tackles.

David Fusitu'a second hat-trick of the season put him on top of the NRL's try-scoring chart with 21 in 21 matches. With six tries in his last three games, he has edged past the great Manu Vatuvei's club regular season try-scoring record of 20 in 19 games in 2010 (Francis Meli's tally of 23 tries in 2003 included his five-try haul against the Bulldogs in the finals).

The 36 points the Vodafone Warriors scored was the most they've produced in a game since beating Newcastle 50-14 in round 14 on June 11, 2016 (the Fusitu'a claimed four tries).
