Players honour former captain Hoffy

Following their round 19 loss to the Melbourne Storm, Vodafone Warriors players gathered in a huddle and invited former skipper Ryan Hoffman to join them.

The Storm stalwart announced earlier in the year that this would be his last season and, as such, his former teammates wanted to honour him.

Vodafone Warriors captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck presented his former skipper with a gift and acknowledged the long-serving forward's contribution to the game and his three seasons in Auckland.

After receiving a round of applause from players, Hoffman then spoke, highlighting his time with the club and acknowledging the treatment he received marking his 300th NRL appearance in 2017 during his time with the Vodafone Warriors.

Players and staff would like to acknowledge Hoffman on a wonderful rugby league career and thank him and his family for the contribution they made during their time with the Vodafone Warriors.
