Vodafone Warriors' Have a Go Day for people with intellectual disabilities

Skills, drills and games will be on the programme when the Vodafone Warriors hold a Have a Go Day for people with intellectual disabilities at Mount Smart Stadium on Friday, April 6.

The event will be an added feature in the countdown to the historic SKYCITY Auckland NRL Double Header the following day (Saturday, April 7) when the Wests Tigers face Melbourne and the Vodafone Warriors take on North Queensland.

The fun-filled Have a Go Day, organised by the club’s Harvey Norman Community Warriors department, is open to all people aged five years old and over with an intellectual disability.

Running from 11.00am to 2.00pm, the event will be held on Mount Smart Stadium’s No 4 field, O’Rorke Road. No rugby league experience is required. All participants need to bring is some training gear, boots, a mouthguard and a drink bottle.

Parking will be available through Mount Smart Stadium’s O’Rorke Road entrance.
