Vodafone Warriors TV caught up with former NRL forward-turned-tackle technician Brett ‘Bumper’ O’Farrell who has joined the Vodafone Warriors in a consultancy role.

O’Farrell and Vodafone Warriors head coach Stephen Kearney are former Melbourne team-mates, O’Farrell making 20 appearances for the Storm from 1999-2001.

The 37-year-old is now a contact and tackle technician who has been contracted to help with the Vodafone Warriors’ defence. He has worked in rugby league with NRL clubs Gold Coast and Parramatta as well as rugby union (Wallabies) and AFL (Brisbane Lions).

He was at the club on Monday and Tuesday working with the players as they began the third week of their preseason programme.
