Second place is on the line when the Vodafone Warriors wind up their regular season campaign with Sunday’s 25th-round Intrust Super Premiership match against Wests Tigers at Mount Smart Stadium (1.45pm kick-off).

They go into the match against the bottom-placed side on 34 points, just one ahead of third-placed Penrith with Canterbury-Bankstown a further point behind in fourth.

Should the Vodafone Warriors pick up their 13th win of the season and the Panthers beat Wentworthville in their last game, it would be a Vodafone Warriors-Penrith match-up in week one of the finals.

The Vodafone Warriors are coming off a last gasp 26-26 away draw with top-placed Wyong while the Tigers were crushed 48-4 by the Bulldogs.

Mason Lino has been named at halfback to team up with Sam Cook with the rest of the backline settled.

Meanwhile, the Vodafone Junior Warriors have their last home game of a challenging season when they face Manly in the first match of the day (11.45am kick-off).
