The Vodafone Junior Warriors' challenging campaign was hit by more disappointment with a crushing 4-70 loss to Newcastle in today's 22nd-round NYC match at McDonald Jones Stadium.

The Knights romped to a 42-0 halftime lead with seven converted tries.

Wing Gibson Popoalii scored the Vodafone Junior Warriors' only points with a try early in the second half but Newcastle picked up another five tries to finish with its biggest NYC victory.
