After their tough 14-13 win over the Roosters, Vodafone Warriors players made their way around the field to show their appreciation to the members and fans who endured the wet and windy conditions of Mt Smart Stadium.

Simon Mannering headed towards the West Stand to sign autographs and take photos with supporters.

As he made his way down the line of patient fans, he stopped for one young fan who had been sitting on the fence with his family.

As gesture of gratitude Mannering took a step back, pulled off his boots and handed them to the young fan sporting a Manurewa Marlins uniform. The family couldn't stop smiling as they took photos to capture the special moment.

In the 80 minutes on the field, Mannering was again Mr Consistent making 135 metres and 48 tackles.
