Albert Vete scores a try. NZ Warriors v Newton Jets

The unbeaten Vodafone Warriors face their toughest test of the season so far when they take on the Wyong Roos in Sunday’s ninth-round Intrust Super Premiership encounter at Mount Smart Stadium (11.45am kick-off).

While the Ricky Henry-coached Vodafone Warriors lead the competition with seven wins and a draw, the Roos are just one point behind them with a 7-1 record.

Henry today named a settled line-up for the contest following Sunday’s strong 24-8 win over fourth-placed North Sydney.

After losing 10-32 to Penrith in the fourth round, Wyong has won four on the trot beating Illawarra 48-14, Wentworthville 30-12, North Sydney 34-6 and Newtown 19-16.

As the Sydney Roosters’ feeder club, the Roos boast plenty of threats including Johnny Tuivasa-Sheck, Lattrell Mitchell and Jayden Nikorima.

Meanwhile, there are some changes to the Vodafone Junior Warriors' squad for their ninth-round NYC encounter with the Sydney Roosters on Sunday (1.45pm kick-off).

Among them is the return of prop Jordan Pinnock with Chris Sio switching to loose forward.
