As usual, there’s something for everyone as the Vodafone Warriors stage their fifth game day of the season at Mount Smart Stadium when they host the Sydney Roosters on Sunday.
Activities centre around a Rugby League World Cup 2017 kick-and-catch competition, the ever-popular mini footy (Rewa Baby Royals v Marist Brothers from Whangarei), the Canterbury of New Zealand T-Shirt cannon, a dance performance from Fresh Movement and the Ray White Coin Toss.
There's also the ACC Big Warm-up for the kids before the mini game, your chance to win the Ultimate Road Warrior plus game day ticket offers and a merchandise special on CCC-designed Vodafone Warriors apparel.
Look out for heaps of fun activities in the Harvey Norman Community Fun Zone and an array of food and beverage options around the ground, especially at the northern end of the ground below Mount Smart’s eye-catching giant screen.
There are so many regular game day features each and every time the Vodafone Warriors play at home. Check out the details here.
The halftime entertainment is focused on the Rugby League World Cup 2017 kick-and-catch competition and performancse by Fresh Movement and the SKYCITY Cheerleaders.
For the kick-and-catch competition, you’ll be in with a chance to win tickets to the RLWC2017 semi-final at Mount Smart Stadium on Saturday, November 25 (hopefully featuring the New Zealand Kiwis).
When you get to the ground on Sunday, head to the RLWC2017 tent in the Harvey Norman Community Fun Zone (northern end of the ground below the giant screen) to register for your chance to compete.
Three contestants will be drawn before kick-off in the main game. They’ll need to meet at the RLWC2017 tent 10 minutes before halftime.
For the competition, the three players will stand in a row on the 40m line with the kicker – identity yet to be revealed – standing about 15 metres away. The contestants will be spun around as the ball is kicked and must catch it on the full. If they’re successful they remain in the competition, if they drop the ball they’re out (in the instance where all catch or all drop the kicks, there will be another round until a winner is found). Also up for grabs will be RLWC2017 shirts.
Look out for two game day specials. We’re offering two GA student tickets for just $20 presale via www.ticketek.co.nz or $30 at the gate.
The day’s merchandise special is the new 2017 Vodafone Warriors classic camo trucker cap. It has just arrived so catch us at one of the official merchandise outlets around the ground or at our big merchandise van. The caps are just $30 but be quick because only limited numbers will be available on Sunday.
A great meeting place for all Vodafone Warriors members is the Members’ Clubrooms at any time after gates open at 11.30am right through until the post-game gathering when two Vodafone Warriors players (TBC) will be interviewed about the big NRL battle.
Our corporate members are catered for in multiple ways from our corporate suites and booths in the West Stand to the Corporate Lounge and the Captains’ Club in the East Stand. Find out more here.
