Vodafone Warriors managing director Jim Doyle and club great Jerome Ropati will join MC Sir Peter Leitch at a League 4 Life fundraiser at the Cashmere Club in Christchurch on Friday.
Set up by the New Zealand Rugby League, League 4 Life strives to raise funds for players and their families who are experiencing physical or financial hardship.
Doyle will speak at the luncheon event along with 2003-2014 Vodafone Warrior and ex-Kiwi Ropati, who became an NRL community ambassador after his 145-game NRL career.
Doors open at 11.30am for an event also featuring an auction and a silent auction.
