Vodafone Warriors head coach Stephen Kearney covered off the club's "disappointing" Downer NRL Nines and his expectations from this weekend's trial against Melbourne when he faced the media after today's training session.

Kearney also discussed new captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck's return from his long lay-off as well as Shaun Johnson's recovery from the groin complaint which kept him off the field at the NRL Nines.
