Vodafone Warriors members showed the true Christmas spirit when they gave generously to the Lifewise charity at the annual members’ Christmas function at Bert Henham Park on Saturday.
Members were encouraged to support Lifewise in its goal to end homelessness by giving non-perishable food, clothing and blankets.
Saturday’s event centred on a Vodafone Warriors training session with the players and members sharing in a breakfast barbecue.
While wet weather dampened proceedings initially it cleared by the time training finished for the players’ mix and mingle with members.
