New Vodafone Warriors head coach Stephen Kearney today faced the media for the first time since returning to Mount Smart Stadium.
He was questioned about a range of topics including his overview of the club, preseason plans, Kieran Foran, Tuimoala Lolohea, injuries and the Kiwis’ Four Nations progress.
Preseason training began yesterday for an initial group of players including Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Foran, Albert Vete, Charlie Gubb and Ligi Sao. Most of the players were on the field training this morning but some including Tuivasa-Sheck (knee) and Foran (shoulder) are in the rehab group.
All coaching staff and players were outfitted in the new Canterbury of New Zealand training kit for the first time today.
