Vodafone Warriors managing director Jim Doyle has today reinforced utility Tuimoala Lolohea is contracted to the end of the 2018 NRL season and is a big part of the club’s future.

Doyle responded to reports Lolohea’s management had received approaches from rival clubs.

“Tui isn’t going anywhere. He’s a big part of our plans and he knows that,” he said.

“Cappy (head coach Andrew McFadden) sees Tui’s future in the halves alongside Shaun (Johnson). That’s one of the reasons why we agreed to let Thomas (Leuluai) go a year early.

“I’m sure there are plenty of other clubs interested in Tui and for our other players as well but Tui will definitely be staying here at the Vodafone Warriors.”
