Five players topped 35 tackles and four made 145 metres plus in the Vodafone Warriors’ hard-earned 12-8 victory over Illawarra in Saturday’s 18th-round Intrust Super Premiership match on Mount Smart Stadium #2.

Loose forward Jazz Tevaga packed 36 tackles and 147 metres from 17 runs into his 66 minutes on the field while prop James Gavet (53 minutes) carried the ball 147 metres from 14 runs including 10 tackle breaks and also made 30 tackles.

Bunty Afoa (43) and hooker Nathaniel Roache (42) topped the tackle count.

Wing Viliami Kaveinga (174) and fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad (171) made the most metres.
