Mason Lino has been brought off the bench to start at halfback replacing seasoned first grader Jeff Robson in the Vodafone Warriors’ 10th-round Intrust Super Premiership match against Penrith at Pepper Stadium today (2.00pm kick-off local time; 4.00pm NZT).

Robson was again set to make his first appearance for the club’s ISP side but was ruled out after picking up a hamstring injury in training.

Lino was close to making his international debut week, filling the 18th man role for Toa Samoa in the Pacific Test against Mate Ma’a Tonga.

With Robson withdrawing, the three-game NRL halfback will again team up with Ata Hingano, who was also on representative duty with the Junior Kiwis last weekend.

Added to the bench is former Vodafone Junior Warriors front rower Paul Tuli.

The Vodafone Warriors, sitting third in the competition, are seeking their sixth win of the season against a Penrith side running ninth on the ladder four points back.
