Five positives from the Nines
We didn't take it out but there were plenty of good things to take out of our NRL Auckland Nines campaign. Here are five positives from the weekend.
ELECTRIC: Take Shaun Johnson and add Roger Tuivasa-Sheck into the mix. Nuff said.
YOUNG BLOOD: Nathaniel Roache displayed plenty of pace and energy from dummy half
THE IMPORTS: Ayshford played plenty of minutes at centre during the two-day tournament linking closely with Jono Wright; Robson
HE'S BACK: Returning from a broken ankle Shaun Johnson showed the rugby league world that he has not lost any pace or his signature sidestep. Speaking of sidestep what about the match-winner against the Broncos!
UNSTOPPABLE: Off the back of his Kiwi call-up and NZRL 2015 Junior Player of the Year Award, Tuimoala Lolohea again put his hand up with a spectacular performance throughout the two-day event. He was named in the team of the tournament alongside Shaun Johnson.

The New Zealand Warriors honour the mana of the Indigenous peoples of Aotearoa, Australia and the Pacific. We acknowledge the traditional kaitiaki of the lands, elders past and present, their stories, their traditions, their mamae and their mana motuhake.
