All 16 NRL teams were out and about on community visits to Auckland clubs on Thursday ahead of the Downer NRL Auckland Nines.

A huge crowd turned up at the Otara Scorpions for their chance to mix and mingle with the Vodafone Warriors players. There were long queues at the signing stations, especially for captain Shaun Johnson.

At the end of the session One News crossed live to reporter Abby Wilson at Ngati Otara Park where she caught up with Otara-raised new Vodafone Warriors fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck. CLICK HERE TO WATCH.

There were also big crowds for other teams around the city, notably the Melbourne Storm visiting the Manurewa Marlins and the South Sydney Rabbitohs at the Mangere East Hawks.
