Leeds twice recovered from deficits to edge Wigan 22-20 in a Super League grand final thriller at Manchester United's home ground Old Trafford today.

In the last game of his rugby league career, Kevin Sinfield converted a Josh Walters try to put the Rhinos in front in the 64th minute, an advantage they protected over the tense final stages to clinch their seventh Super League crown.

Among the Rhinos' try scorers was Vodafone Warrior #145 Joel Moon.

Jamie Peacock's 553rd and final career match ended perfectly with his ninth title in a record 11th grand final appearance while New Zealander Kylie Leuluai signed off his career by extending his perfect record to six grand final wins from six attempts.
