Round two for the Vodafone Warriors tonight taking on Canberra at GIO Stadium.

FIRST HALF

2'00" | Great first set ending with last tackle shift and trapping Canberra just short of its line.

3'00" | Chad Townsend bomb spilled by Jack Wighton. From the repeat set, Manu Vatuvei just stopped having a shot for a try in the left-hand corner.

5'00" | Canberra drop towering bomb on Manu Vatuvei, The Beast defusing it superbly.

12'00| Slick ball work shifting ball right, Lolohea goes back to the middle, Matulino surges through and off loads to Townsend on his left shoulder. Quick play the ball, Johnson comes back to the left and pokes through a kick which the Raiders seem to knock on. Referee rules Vodafone Warriors knocked on first, though.

14'30" | The Raiders asking lots of questions with some razzle dazzle.

16'00" | Attacking bomb contested, Sisa Waqa spills it and six more for the Vodafone Warriors. Awarded a penalty. Leuluai doubles around on Matulino but the prop goes himself. Review confirmed he had been stopped just short.

18'30" | Plenty of football being played by both sides.

19'00" | Raiders attacking set after being awarded a penalty.

19'30" | Blake Austin threatens to go all the way for Canberra but great scramble stops him, Mannerning knocking the ball free.

20'00" | Simon Mannering put on report for an alleged high tackle on Waqa. Canberra on attack again from penalty.

20'20" | Johnson down in back play after being involved in tackle on Frank Paul Nuuausala. Reeled out of the tackle holding his wrist. Concern.

24'00" | Sam Tomkins carves upfield 60 metres on a kick return. Couldn't link with Kata outside him. Dragged down and held down. Penalty but from the repeat set possession turned over.

25'00" | TRY! The Raiders hand possession back inside their 20. From the attacking scrum the Vodafone Warriors go direct to their backline, Lolohea involved, Kata decoy, Tomkins and Johnson handle to give The Beast a run to the corner. He doesn't miss out this time with his 136th career try in his 196th match. Brilliant conversion from wide out by Johnson.

Canberra Raiders 0, Vodafone Warriors 6

32'00" | Under the pump again as Canberra awarded a penalty deep inside Vodafone Warriors territory. Can't turn them away. Austin bomb towards left wing Sisa Waqa and he climbs to snare for try. Jarrod Croker with conversion wide out on the left is on target to tie the game up.

Canberra Raiders 6, Vodafone Warriors 6

37'30" | Possession turned over inside the half giving Canberra another set on attack. Relief as Nuuausala knocks on in tackle.

39'30" | Dubious knock on call against Jonathan Wright giving Canberra one last chance in the half. Went for a kick wide out to Waqa but Wright hauled it in.

HALFTIME | CANBERRA RAIDERS 6, VODAFONE WARRIORS 6

Plenty of energy and endeavour from both sides but also a high error count, a total of 17. The Vodafone Warriors have completed only 11 of 21 sets. Massive defensive load for Mannering who has already made 35 tackles and Bodene Thompson with 25 tackles.

SECOND HALF

41'00" | TRY! Start couldn't be better. Canberra forward Paul Vaughan drops the kick-off, Vodafone Warriors have attacking set from goal-line dropout and make the Raiders pay for their error. They set up for the left through Leuluai, Townsend and Tomkins who puts Kata over for his first NRL try. Johnson's conversion was brilliant again.

Canberra Raiders 6, Vodafone Warriors 12

43'00" | TRY! Excellent set from the restart, rolling downfield impressively. On the last tackle Townsend bombs and Ryan Hoffman leaps to snatch the ball ahead of Wighton to run around for his second try in consecutive games. Johnson converts and it's suddenly 18-6.

Canberra Raiders 6, Vodafone Warriors 18

47'00" | Johnson bombs to the left, Tomkins and Hoffman go up, the ball is tapped back and fed to Kata to score. No try call referred for review, establishing Hoffman had knocked on. No try.

56'00" | Six Vodafone Warriors players have topped 100 metres so far - Matulino 147, Hoffman 134, Vatuvei 140, Tomkins 122, Lisone 117 and Wright 106.

60'00" | Fantastic scrambling defence, first from Mannering and then Hoffman to deny the Raiders.

61'00" | Big defensive shift coming up. Hoffman driven back over the line by multiple Canberra defenders. Goal-line dropout.

62'00" | How about the defence? Massive hit from Vatuvei shooting out of the line first and then forcing a Canberra error on the other side.

63'00" | Injury concern for Tomkins. Down with leg injury but stays on.

63'40" | Possession handed over again with last tackle kick out on the full.

67'00" | Tomkins still on. Seems to be fine.

68'00" | Luke Bateman on report for a crusher tackle on Tomkins. Vodafone Warriors receive penalty which puts them on attack inside Canberra's 20.

69'00" | Scoring chance missed. Nice short pass from Lisone but Lillyman can't hold on with the try-line open. Canberra still in this.

70'45" | Tomkins tries last tackle field goal but charged down. Possession to Canberra.

73'00" | Blocked from setting up for a field goal play.

77'00" | Good set-up for field goal play, good strike from Johnson but just wide. Still 12 points ahead with three minutes to play.

78'00" | Penalty conceded. Turn them away!

78'20" | Great defence from the Vodafone Warriors' right edge forces errors and Tomkins comes away with the ball.

80'00" | And the Vodafone Warriors hold on for their second consecutive win in Canberra.

FULLTIME | CANBERRA RAIDERS 6, VODAFONE WARRIORS 18
