Nate Roache approaches the tackle of Manu Vatuvei.

Vodafone Junior Warriors coach Kelvin Wright will use an unchanged side in the club's first NYC appearance of the season against Newcastle at Hunter Stadium today (12.00pm kick-off local time; 2.00pm NZT).

While heading into his rookie season as coach, Wright has worked with the players in his role as assistant coach over the last two years including his time with first-year coach Stacey Jones in the club's 2014 premiership-winning campaign.

Wright has named six players from the side that appeared in the grand final for today's encounter.

Hooker Nathaniel Roache is captaining the team, taking over from last year-s co-captains Mason Lino and Sam Lisone.
