In their only major NRL trial before the season starts the Vodafone Warriors today completed an impressive 18-4 victory over Penrith in Rotorua.
The performance was built on outstanding defence throughout, the Vodafone Warriors consistently denying the Panthers inside their red zone.
They kept the visitors scoreless in the second half while stitching together three tries of their won, Ken Maumalo completing a double.
