Vodafone Warriors signing Jonathan Wright has arrived in Auckland and will join his new team-mates for the first time at Mount Smart Stadium tomorrow morning.
He came straight to Vodafone Warriors headquarters from the airport this afternoon to check out his new football surroundings and was immediately impressed with the facilities as well as Sir Peter Leitch’s impressive collection of memorabilia mounted in the East Stand.
While he was visiting the club and meeting staff, the 27-year-old 91-game NRL veteran also spoke to Vodafone Warriors TV about rebooting his career fresh at his fourth club. He has previously played for Parramatta (2009-2010), Canterbury-Bankstown (2011-2012) and Cronulla (2013-2014).
Wright has a Kiwi fiancée – who hails from East Auckland – and they have two children.
