Prop Jacob Lillyman has collected the players’ player of the day award four times in the Vodafone Warriors’ first 15 matches of their 2014 NRL campaign.

The 30-year-old, now in Brisbane preparing for Origin III, received the accolade against Parramatta and Cronulla as well as both encounters against Canterbury-Bankstown.

He has appeared in each of the Vodafone Warriors’ 15 matches, averaging more than 14 runs and around 133 metres a game as well as close to 23 tackles a match. He has made only three errors.

The only other players to win the award more than once have been utility forward Sebastine Ikahihifo, captain Simon Mannering and winger Manu Vatuvei.
