Vodafone Warriors legend Micheal Luck pays tribute to long-time team-mate Simon Mannering ahead of the captain's 200-100 milestone double at Mount Smart Stadium.

Luck (Vodafone Warrior #126) made his debut for the club in 2006 while Mannering (#125) had started his NRL career with seven appearances in 2005.

Luck marked his retirement with his 150th appearance for the club in 2012, a day when Mannering hauled himself back from a five-game absence with a serious ankle injury to ensure he played alongside his great mate Luck in the Queenslander's farewell at Mount Smart Stadium.

Now Luck has paid tribute to Mannering, whom he has the greatest regard for as both a player and a leader.
