Sydney-based Richard Morgan was the official Vodafone Warriors representative when members from each of the NRL’s 16 clubs were put in the spotlight for the launch of the 2014 season.
Dressed in the club’s Wellington replica strip used in last year’s historic ‘Capital Clash’ against the Bulldogs, Morgan joined the other 15 representatives on stage on a night when members were very much in focus.
More than 600 members and fans from across Australia and New Zealand rubbed shoulders alongside NRL stars as NRL chief executive Dave Smith outlined how much members mean and give to the game.
“Members are the fans who go the extra step to support their club,” Smith said.
“They give so much to the game and we are determined to give them something back.”
