Standoff Thomas Leuluai was one of the Vodafone Warriors best in his return to the club after eight seasons away with the London Broncos and the Wigan Warriors in the English Super League.

The 28-year-old veteran Kiwi international was the only player on the field for every single minute 1920 of the Vodafone Warriors 24 games.

He was one of four nominees for the Lion Red NRL Player of the Year title - won by captain Simon Mannering - after a season in which he had a profound impact with his all-round professionalism.

Among his many impressive displays was his effort in the memorable 30-22 home win against Melbourne when he scored an exceptional try running through the heart of the Storms defence.

Leuluai finished with six tries while he was ranked fourth in the team for most tackle breaks, third for most line breaks, third for most try assists, ninth for most tackles (eight forwards were ahead of him) and he made just 12 errors (the second fewest among the NRLs regular halves).
