Another great story has emerged from the Vodafone Warriors visit to Gosford for their NRL clash against Manly on Sunday.

Avid supporter Aaron Jarvis forwarded an email relating his post-match experiences:

After the game against Manly I stopped and waited for the players.

They were awesome doing photos and autographs with anyone that wanted them. I was standing with Matthew Lloyd, who has Down syndrome, and the way your players were with him was amazing.

They are a credit to their club and fans. Made me love the club I support even more.

A big mention needs to go to Sam Rapira, Ngani Laumape, Konrad Hurrell, Elijah Taylor, Simon Mannering and Suaia Matagi. Each of them went out of their way to spend a little more time to make his day that little special. Well done guys.

Aaron sent us some photos and also one when he met up with Sonny Fai and Sam Rapira after the 2008 clash against Newcastle.

Later Matthews mum Sonja made contact, forwarding a number of photos Matthew had taken with the players.

Thank you to all of you who made Matthews Warriors game experience absolutely delightful. He was yelling so much he almost lost his voice he was that excited. You all smiled even though it was a tough game - a great day for Matthew and his team. Many thanks from a proud kiwi mum, said Sonja.
