The Auckland Vulcans are again able to field an all-Vodafone Warriors starting forward pack in todays New South Wales Cup encounter with Wentworthville at Mount Smart Stadium No 2 (11.00am kick-off).

With players returning from injury, coach Willie Swann is able to line up a front row of Russell Packer, Alehana Mara and Charlie Gubb with John Palavi, Sam Lousi and Sebastine Ikahihifo.

Also confirmed is veteran Vodafone Warriors centre Jerome Ropati after not being named earlier in the week. His try last week enabled the Vulcans to draw level 16-16 with Illawarra after a sizzling comeback from 0-16 only for the recovery to come to nothing when the Cutters kicked a late field goal for a 17-16 victory.

Despite back-to-back losses to Newtown and Illawarra, the Vulcans remain seventh on the ladder after a difficult five weeks. They had a three-week break in action before returning for their last two matches.

Set to continue their development are five players still eligible to play for the Vodafone Junior Warriors in the NYC winger Viliami Lolohea and four interchange forwards Siliva Havili, David Bhana, Raymond Faitala-Mariner and Albert Vete.
