Doubles to centre Lafu Feagaiga and winger Metia Lisati helped the Vodafone Junior Warriors to a hard-fought 20-16 victory over Melbourne in today's 20th-round NYC clash at Mount Smart Stadium today.


After going to halftime 10-16 down, the Vodafone Junior Warriors levelled up through Lisati's converted try in the 53rd minute.


Not until the 70th minute did they hit the front, Lisati the provider again on the left wing. Tuimoala Lolohea couldn't convert but the Vodafone Junior Warriors had a lead they protected over the final section to secure a win which lifted them back into fourth spot on the table.
