Prop Russell Packer and utility Pita Godinet (pictured) are on target to return to the field after the Vodafone Warriors second bye next weekend. Photo: Photosport.

Packer initially had an ankle problem leading into the 16th-round clash against the Broncos before picking up a hamstring injury which prevented him lining up for the Brisbane encounter.

It also ruled him out of travelling with the team for todays 17th-round match against South Sydney in Perth but, with the bye to come next weekend, hes on track to be available for the 19th-round away game against Wests Tigers on Friday, July 19.

Godinet is also expected to fully recover by then from the medial ligament strain he suffered in the Auckland Vulcans New South Wales Cup match against Wests Tigers last month.

The current injury list is:

Pita Godinet knee (round 19)

Russell Packer hamstring (round 19)

Ben Henry knee (out for season)

Sione Lousi knee (out for season)

Steve Rapira knee (out for season)
