Lower Hutt-born and bred Kurt Robinson will provide another local touch to the The Capital Clash when he turns out for the Vodafone Junior Warriors in tonights ninth-round NYC encounter with Canterbury-Bankstown at Westpac Stadium in Wellington (5.15 kick-off).

Robinson will make his second NYC appearance after his debut outing against the Melbourne Storm on April 25.

Sharing the same birthday as club legend Stacey Jones, the Hutt Valley High School-educated Petone Panthers junior turned 19 on Tuesday and still has another year to play in the competition.

Robinson is one of several Vodafone Warriors players involved it the three games today from the Wellington region.

Vodafone Junior Warriors coach John Ackland has made some changes to tonights game against the fourth-placed Bulldogs.

He has again made a swap in the front row, Albert Vete to start with Sam Lisone going back to the bench. Interchange forward Stedman Lefau is out, replaced by Kouma Samson.

The Vodafone Junior Warriors slipped up against last-placed Gold Coast last Sunday. As had happened earlier in the campaign against the Sydney Roosters, they held a narrow lead going into the final minutes only to concede defeat, the Titans stealing a converted try to win 32-30.

Following results last night the Vodafone Junior Warriors go into this match in eighth spot.
