Kiwi singer Annabel Fay will perform her new hit single Warrior when she appears as the headline act on the Vodafone Warriors triple header match day entertainment programme at Mount Smart Stadium on Sunday.

Fays on-field performance of the second single taken from her forthcoming third album Brave The Rain will feature during the halftime break in the Vodafone Warriors fifth-round NRL clash against South Sydney (match day sponsor: Canterbury of New Zealand).

Warrior sees Annabel Fay stronger than anything she has done previously. Hard-hitting and uncompromising; this is an Annabel Fay like no one has seen before.

Warrior is about someone who has just gone through a breakup and having to be strong in hard times, Fay says of her latest hit.

Even though it's serious subject matter, I wanted the track to be really upbeat and fun to listen to.

Fay will first perform Warrior exclusively for Vodafone Warriors platinum and gold members in the Club Lounge in the East Stand soon after the Vodafone Junior Warriors v South Sydney NYC match finishes.

Brave The Rain is due for release in October this year.
