Vodafone Warriors Charlie Gubb and Harry Siejka (pictured) will both miss the Auckland Vulcans' third-round New South Wales Cup encounter with Newcastle in Cessnock today (5.00pm kick-off, 7.00pm NZT). Photo: Photosport:

Siejka is out after a head knock in last week's win against Newtown but is likely to return next week while Gubb will be out for up to four weeks.

He also took a blow to the head against the Jets, scans later revealing a crack in his jaw.

Steve Waetford will now move into the halves with Aaron Nootai while Gubb's place is taken by former Vodafone Junior Warrior Daniel Palavi.
