Well in advance of tonights ED3N THE RISING encounter with the Sydney Roosters (7.30pm kick-off), sales had again gone through the 30,000 mark.

This is the third year the Vodafone Warriors have played their first home game of the season at New Zealands biggest stadium.

In their first foray to the park in 2011, the Vodafone Warriors pulled in a club record crowd of 38,412 when they faced Parramatta followed by 37,502 for last years battle with Manly.

The exact attendance, to be confirmed after halftime in tonights match, marks the second time in two games that Sonny Bill Williams appearance for the Roosters has coincided with a 30,000-plus crowd. More than 35,000 were at Allianz Stadium for SBWs return to rugby league against South Sydney nine days ago.

In last years two meetings between the Vodafone Warriors and the Sydney Roosters honours were shared, the Roosters winning at Allianz Stadium before the Vodafone Warriors prevailed 30-26 at Mount Smart Stadium.
