The first Vodafone Warriors teams of the 2013 NRL and NYC season will be announced later today.


Vodafone Warriors head coach Matthew Elliott is set to reveal his first official NRL line-up since joining the club for Saturday nights first-round encounter with the Eels at Parramatta Stadium (5.30pm kick-off; 7.30pm NZ time).


John Ackland, entering his fourth NYC campaign as Vodafone Junior Warriors head coach, will name his side as well to face the Eels (3.15pm kick-off; 5.15pm NZ time).


Vodafone Warriors-contracted players will also feature when first-year Auckland Vulcans coach Willie Swann releases his squad for the season-opening New South Wales Cup game against the Manly Sea Eagles at Brookvale Oval on Saturday (3.00pm kick-off; 5.00pm kick-off).


Among those set to be named for their first Vodafone Warriors NRL appearances are 2012 Melbourne Storm premiership winners Dane Nielsen and Todd Lowrie while Thomas Leuluai is poised to play his first match in the NRL in almost nine years since leaving the Vodafone Warriors in 2004.
