With the NRL season about to start and fans queuing up to register for Dream Team, Around the Grounds is back for 2013 looking at the English Super League first up.


In fifth-round matches there were surprise losses for Huddersfield and Warrington.


In the biggest match-up of the week, Leeds took the honours 20-12 in a tough battle away to St Helens. Former Vodafone Warrior Francis Meli scored twice for Saints.


In the other Friday night match, the London Broncos trounced struggling Salford 38-4.


On Saturday, Les Catalans Dragons accounted for Wakefield 29-22 and lowly Widnes gave Hull FC a 36-16 defeat.


Sundays matches finished in favour of Wigan (28-22 v Castleford), Bradford (43-18 over Huddersfield) and Hull Kingston Rovers (26-12 v Warrington).
