In just 20 days first-year head coach Matthew Elliott (pictured with Ben Matulino at training last week) will take the Vodafone Warriors into action for the first time when they face Gold Coast in their first 2013 NRL trial ay Pizzey Park in Burleigh Heads on Saturday, February 9 (5.15pm kick-off).

The season proper kicks off in 48 days with the clubs first-round NRL encounter with the Eels at Parramatta Stadium on Saturday, March 9 (5.30pm kick-off).

Elliott has had most of the 2013 squad working since November 5, a total of 10 weeks in training so far.
