Naomi hails from Cambridge in New Zealand where she played her junior rugby league for the Cambridge Raiders. Her brother Kurt also started his career there before going on to play for the Vodafone Junior Warriors in the National Youth Competition and then having a long career with the Newtown Jets in the New South Wales Cup.
Naomi was one of the 17 new players signed for the Warriors' Covid-19 affected 2020 NRLW campaign. She plays for Wests Tigers in local footy in Sydney.
