Playing her representative football for the Akarana Falcons, she earned a contract with the Warriors for the historic 2018 NRLW premiership. She didn't make the playing 17 for the opening match against the Sydney Roosters but came into the side to start at prop against St George Illawarra.
Crystal won a starting second rower's spot for the Warriors' 2019 season-opening match against the Sydney Roosters in Melbourne, playing the full 60 minutes in the side's 16-12 win. She also lined up against the Dragons and the Broncos. After the NRLW season she was in the title-winning Kiwi Ferns side at the World Nines.
'Crys' became one of the Warriors' 'fab five' when she committed to travel to Australia to go into quarantine with Georgia Hale, Madison Bartlett, Kanyon Paul and Hilda Peters for the Covid-19 affected 2020 NRLW premiership.
She started in the front row in the team's opening match against the Broncos.
Previously a postie with NZ Post, she now works as an assembler at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare.
