Seasoned play maker Kodi Nikorima and rookie second rower Eliesa Katoa have come off the injury list this week to provide a boost to the Vodafone Warriors’ stretched playing resources.

Nikorima missed the match against Gold Coast after a head knock the previous week while Katoa has returned after being out for the past three games.

While they’re back, the Vodafone Warriors still have a lengthy list of players with long-term injuries.

Two of them – utility back Adam Keighran and hooker Nathaniel Roache – are close to being in contention for selection again.

Keighran’s availability would be timely with the club’s depth in the outside backs about to take a hit with experienced wingers David Fusitu’a and Ken Maumalo returning home on compassionate grounds following the 11th-round encounter with the Sydney Roosters.

Also heading home are Agnatius Paasi and rookie forward King Vuniyayawa, who played in the first five rounds this season, two before the competition was suspended and the first three after it resumed in May. He has joined the injury list with a hand injury picked up in training last weekend.
