Vodafone Warriors captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck says the decision by the two teams to support the Black Lives Matter cause after the win over the Cowboys was driven by teammates Jamayne Taunoa-Brown and Josh Curran.
Both teams joined together in 'taking the knee' after the contest at Central Coast Stadium.
"It was such an awesome thing to do. Jamayne and Josh, our Aboriginal brothers, joined up with their North Queensland Aboriginal brothers," said Tuivasa-Sheck.
"They asked if we could all come together and kneel just to support each other at a time like this. We all backed each other, we all believe in the cause and what's happening and we thought it would be good to get together."
The practice has been observed across NRL premiership matches this weekend.
