Established first graders Issac Luke, Blake Ayshford, James Gavet and just-signed Agnatius Paasi were on deck as the Vodafone Warriors began week two of their preseason programme at Mount Smart Stadium today.

The week one contingent comprised mainly younger players and some from the club's Intrust Super Premiership squad along with a handful of NRL players - new signing Leivaha Pulu, Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, Mason Lino, Nathaniel Roache, Isaiah Papali'i and Chris Satae.

Apart from players on Rugby League World Cup duty most of the other players will return this week.

After Luke, Ayshford, Gavet and Paasi today, Albert Vete, Ligi Sao, Manaia Cherrington and Zac Santo are due to kick in on Wednesday having gone deep into the ISP finals with the Vodafone Warriors in September. Also joining them will be new signing Matiu Love-Henry.

This week's schedule revolves around field and gym sessions with wrestling mixed in.
