While the season has been challenging, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck says captaining the Vodafone Warriors has helped him this year.

The Kiwi fullback has missed just one match in his comeback from knee surgery.

With one match to go, he has scored nine tries in 22 games, his second-best return behind the 12 tries he snared in 27 games with the Sydney Roosters in 2015.

He has made almost 4000 metres from 427 runs, averaging 180.2 metres and 19.4 runs a game. He ranks second among all players for total runs behind Cronulla's Paul Gallen (438) while only North Queensland's Jason Taumalolo (4246) and Gallen (4084) are ahead of him for most metres gained.
