Shaun Johnson talks for the first time about the relief he felt when he discovered his knee injury wasn't as serious as first feared.

It was initially thought the 26-year-old may have suffered a season-ending anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee when he went down in the 62nd minute of the Vodafone Warriors' clash against Penrith on Friday night.

However, scans on Monday revealed he had instead ruptured the posterior cruciate ligament. He won't need surgery and is expected to recover in six to eight weeks.

Johnson also spoke today about Mason Lino, who will start at halfback in the Vodafone Warriors' 20th-round match against North Queensland on Saturday night.
