Another backline star hit a century and a host of Fantasy favourites impressed in another cracking round of footy. The success stories, flops and talking points to come out of this week's NRL Fantasy action.

Winners

Jordan Rapana brought up the first NRL Fantasy hundred of the season last week and James Roberts grabbed the second with a hat-trick – including the match-winning try – for the Broncos against the Titans on Friday. His 103 was just the second time Roberts has passed 50 this season but shows what the lightning quick centre can do on his day.

Mitchell Pearce could be playing his way back into the NSW No 7 jersey with another strong performance for the Roosters, racking up 88 Fantasy points against Newcastle, while Dragons centre Tim Lafai (76), Manly lock Jake Trbojevic (74) and Raiders hooker Josh Hodgson (72) all produced their season-best scores.

Cameron Smith's 71 was matched by Storm team-mate Felise Kaufusi, who scored twice thanks to perfectly timed passes from Billy Slater (57) and continues to be a quality money earner. Last year's breakout Fantasy star Ryan James got back to something near his best with his first 70 of the season, while James Tedesco's superb season continued with a 68 and value buys Kodi Nikorima and Joey Leilua both belted out 66.

One of last week's most talked about value buys – Rabbitohs second-rower Angus Crichton – lived up to the hype as well, playing practically the full 80 minutes and scoring 58, while popular Fantasy players Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (49), Jarrod Wallace (60), Jayden Brailey (54), Brian Kelly (53), Josh McGuire (65), Shaun Johnson (52) and Sione Mata'utia (56) all impressed.

Ever-consistent Vodafone Warriors back rower Simon Mannering is again in the team after another typical contribution against the Canberra Raiders, when he carried the ball 12 times for 103 metres and made 46 tackles as well as three tackle breaks and two off loads.

Losers

Tyronne Roberts-Davis's run as a cash cow came to a screeching halt for the moment with a return of -3 from 80 minutes against the Broncos, with the Gold Coast winger suffering from five missed tackles, an error and a penalty conceded.

Cash cow Matt Frawley again played off the bench for the Bulldogs and managed just 10 points, Ben Hampton was bumped back to the Cowboys bench and scored 19, popular Broncos outside back Jordan Kahu made only 12 after leaving the field early with a groin injury, while Dale Copley (16) picked up a back injury after starting the season with a couple of try-scoring performances.
