Vodafone Warriors member April Tanuvasamanaia is the proud new owner of the 2016 Suzuki Road Warrior.

April and her husband Chanel could barely stop smiling when they turned up at Mount Smart Stadium to pick up the Road Warrior this week.

Before driving away with their eye-catching prize, Vodafone Warriors TV caught up with the Manurewa couple to celebrate their success and chat with April.

She was one of 10 finalists randomly drawn from the thousands of entries in the competition to win the Suzuki Road Warrior. Enrties were open at the club's first 10 home games at Mount Smart Stadium before the 'grand final' was played out at halftime in the last game of the season against Parramatta.

Leading up to the match, the public voted for which four of the finalists would have the chance to win the Suzuki Swift on game day. All 10 finalists were at the ground when the four with the most votes were revealed at halftime.

Next step for the final four was selecting a key from the four available. Then the drama unfolded.

First to pick her key was top-polling Cheryl Gabriel. She attempted to unlock the car. No joy.

Up stepped second-ranked April, she selected her key from the remaining three, pressed the unlock button - and it worked. The crowd went wild and April was just a little stunned but stoked while the remaining two contestants Keith Taulahi and Vera Campbell didn't have a chance.

Congratulations to April on becoming the newest owner of the Suzuki Road Warrior.
