Bidding is now open on www.trademe.co.nz for signed ‘250’ jerseys worn by Vodafone Warriors players in the club’s landmark match celebrating veteran Simon Mannering’s 250th NRL appearance in the 27-18 win over the Gold Coast Titans at Mount Smart Stadium on July 2.

Each jersey has been signed by Mannering as well as the player who wore it while the individual player’s name and Mannering’s name are also screen printed on each jersey along with the number 250 in recognition of the former captain’s milestone.

The Trade Me auction is being held to raise funds for the League 4 Life charity which aims to support former players and members of the rugby league community who have fallen on hard times.

In all 15 of the 17 playing jerseys are being auctioned. The exceptions are the jerseys worn by Mannering and front rower Bunty Afoa, who became Vodafone Warrior #213 when he made his NRL debut against the Titans.
