Three players made 15 plus runs and more than 160 metres in the Vodafone Warriors’ brave win over St George Illawarra last Sunday.

Jacob Lillyman (174), Jonathan Wright (169) and David Fusitu’a (163) made more than 500 metres between them as the Vodafone Warriors secured a vital 26-10 victory which has seen them climb to ninth on the NRL points table with a 4-5 record.

Lillyman backed up his ball-carrying workload with 48 tackles (hooker Jazz Tevaga also finished with 48 tackles).

There were big numbers, too, from the club’s Intrust Super Premiership team against the Bulldogs, especially from the five players who came down from the NRL side. Manu Vatuvei made 177 metres and six tackle breaks, Ben Matulino 182 and 41 tackles in 73 minutes, Bodene Thompson 130 metres and 26 tackles, Albert Vete 219 metres and 22 tackles and Sam Lisone 148 metres.
